Joyce Papciak Honored by State Senator

              Joyce Papciak was honored by state Sen. Robert Wonderling for bringing loving animals to nursing homes, hospitals and schools.  Joyce was awarded Sen. Wonderling's first Everyday Hero Award.  Joyce commented, "The dogs are the ones that give the comfort and love, we just hold the leases."

 We were a big hit at the Library!

Alex Buono, 7, of Quakertown uses Hannibal, an 8-year-old St. Bernard, as a pillow while he reads to him at the James Michener Library, Richland Township. Buono was at the library Saturday for ‘Reading Goes to the Dogs,’ offered the first Saturday of each month for children who want to practice their reading. They read to dogs from Paws with Patience, a nonprofit, pet therapy group.
