I began my membership with the wonderful volunteers of Paws with Patience during my undergraduate internship in college.  I have continued after graduation because I truly enjoy the happiness a dog visit can bring to the people we meet, and I really like attending community events with the other members of the group. 

Chloe is my first certified dog, a beagle full of life and love.  She enjoys watermelon and bananas as her favorite treats and can do many tricks to earn it!  Chloe's favorite activity is napping.  Usually if she's not visiting or on a walk...she's napping on the couch.

Ricky is the second of my dogs to become certified.  He is a dappled dachshund with a kind, sensitive and gentle spirit.  His calm temperment and sweet personality make him a wonderful therapy dog and also a joy to live with.  Ricky's favorite treats are tomatoes, pears and apples.  His favorite toy is his Nylabone.

Lucy is my third dog, also a dachshund, to become certified.  She is a bright and fiesty black and tan little lady who is intensely loyal.  Lucy keeps us laughing all of the time with her silly antics.  Her favorite treat is ice cream, although she's not allowed to have it often, so her second favorite treats are baby carrots.  Lucy loves to play "tug" games and she is particularly intrigued by stuffed Kong toys.

My dogs are the loves of my life.  They teach me so much every day about life and unconditional love - I feel as though it would be unfair not to share this!
